Do you all know why The Big Bang Theory came to an end after 12 seasons? It was because Jim Parson AKA Sheldon Lee Cooper, said he wanted to leave. In his recent interview Jim has opened about the reason behind him quitting the most spectacular show.
The sitcom was set to return for another two seasons but unfortunately it didn’t. The director of the show Jhon Shaffner was all ready to direct the next season and it would have been a great delight to us.
The actor said,”In retrospect, it was just happening before my eyes,” he said. “Our final contract was for the last two years, but no one knew when we signed it what that would mean. I kind of had a suspicion in my heart that was going to be it for me when I did sign that contract. You never say never, who knows?”
“I realised that at the end of season 12, I would be 46,” Parsons continued. “I’m not superstitious, or anything like that, but it was just a context thing. If you told me that, like my father, I had six years left to live, I think there’s other things I need to try and do. I don’t even know what they are, but I can tell that I need to try.”
Now Jim is working on a upcoming NETFLIX series named,” The Boys In The Band”. From an expectional physicists he is now going to play a role of a party planner. Fans of TBBT will surely not miss this brand new web series where they will once again see Sheldon.
