Indian government banned 59 Chinese apps

The tension between India and china since the coronavirus outbreak and now the Galwan valley attack has taken a different turn. We simply don’t know what all measures the government will take in the future to fight China. Many companies have already shifted all their business from china till now and after the Galwan valley attack the government also gave the Indian military the full freedom to handle the Chinese in their own ways..the whole India now has decided to not keep shut and fight back to save their country from any type of danger. On monday the Indian government banned 59 chinese mobile application including tik tok, share it, uc browser and many others. The situation got worsened by the phishing attacks done by the chinise hackers, over 40000 attacks already took place in the IT sectors. It was also said that data were hacked from the Chinese mobile applications and it was not safe to further use it.

Sources from the intelligence agency suggested that the Chinese applications have been violating the terms of usage compromising users privacy and being used as five air or malware. A statement from the ministry of electronics and information and technology said it had received an exhaustive recommendation from the Indian cyber crime coordination centre and the ministry of home affairs. The ministry stated that it has also received representations from people on security of data and risk to privacy regarding these apps. It is a matter of great and immediate concern that these apps are being used to mine and are profiling the elements of the national security and the defence of India.

In the last week the government has stated that the word ” country of origin” is mandatory in the e market place and all the E-Commerce companies including Amazon and Flipkart have decided to follow this suit.

As the orders has been issued today it may take some time for the app and the play stores to act on them the government order will apply in not just to new downloads but will also cover the already downloaded apps that have been banned.
